This series is great. Just really solid well-written YA with decent characters and a lot of surprises. My favorite part in this book was probably the inclusion of the zombies. I don't think I've ever seen zombies in a fantasy novel before. Awesome. I also really liked the ancient jungle temple, although it seemed a little too pat that they pretty much had to circumnavigate the entire continent to get from point A to point B. Still, excellent book, loved the ending.
