supercheesegirl | Saturday afternoon: clothes / travel final project

I spent a while cleaning out my dresser drawers in the hopes of finding something interesting to wear to C's party tonight (no luck, BTW, and I hate it when Wardrobe Ish makes me consider not going to parties!). Anyway, taking stock of things made me realize that my summer wardrobe is 800 times awesomer than my winter wardrobe. I haven't even gone through my big trunk to take out all the summer stuff yet, and *still* my summer stuff is awesomer than my winter stuff. I have a whole drawerful of cute t-shirts with Grover or Rainbow Brite or something on them. I have lots of cute tank tops. I have cute skirts. For winter I just have stupid nasty sweaters. Stupid sweaters, all itchy and bulky. My winter wardrobe is so serious! No Rainbow Brite anywhere. No wonder I hate winter.

I got together a pretty big bag of stuff to give away, so that's good. Hopefully the clothes swap my girlfriends have been talking about will actually happen and I can unload some stuff.

I've been ripping cds all day, too. Making good progress on getting all my cds ripped.

And I finished the rough draft of my final travel essay. It's definitely rough, but I don't think it's bad. I'll type it up tomorrow and hopefully it'll be long enough. I have ideas for things to add if I need more, though, and I know what scenes will get cut if I have to cut anything. Whew.
