books 2014: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Predators and Prey (S8 #5) by Jane Espenson

Now I'm getting into content I didn't read in the original comics. Can I just say I hate the whole Harmony-reality-show, Slayers-are-really-the-evil-ones thing? It totally makes sense for Harmony's character, I just thought there was plenty going on already. And also, thinking about timeline--Buffy graduated high school in 1996, right, so these events should be happening in, tops, 2002, at the beginning of the reality show boom. When I think about that, it doesn't seem as realistic to me (but I'm less bothered by them all having cell phones and high tech gadgets that they wouldn't have had 12 years ago--maybe just because this is such a major plot point?).
