books 2014: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Last Gleaming (S8 #8), by Joss Whedon

I have to say, I didn't love this ending. I found it difficult to follow what was even at stake in Sunnydale, what the possible options were, and who wanted to do what and why. Didn't love that we lost a major character in this confusing shakedown. I understand that Joss wanted a way out of the hole he'd dug with season 8, but this was just really kind of a mess.
