today i got new books. i got them with my free B&N gift certificates. isn't that great? i got:
Bellocq's Ophelia, by Natasha Trethewey
Blood Ties: Working Class Poems, by Gary Fincke
The Wandering Scholars of the Middle Ages, by Helen Waddell
i am very happy. i also stopped by the harris teeter and picked up some turkey and cheese and yogurt and bananas. didn't look like there was a shortage or anything, but i thought i'd just be safe.
i think i'll take a shower now.
