so last night and this morning, i got all packed. except my umbrella, which i have to remember to pack when i get home. and there's plenty of room in my suitcase for all the books i'm going to buy while i'm away.
today after work: go to the post office, mail Thing to Someone (being vague in case someone who doesn't usually check her el jay checks it) and get postcard stamps, then stop at the bank to deposit my tax return check! *does happy dance* tax returns are the best part of making hardly any money. and then, home to get my stuff and grab a sandwich before heading out to the airport (remember: pack umbrella, leave T-pass for jorn).
i brought a vase to work for my daffodils. they look and smell gorgeous. i'm sorry i'm going to miss the rest of their lives. i think i'll start regularly buying flowers for my office. won't that be nice?
Top Model finale last night--suxxor. i was really impressed by mercedes, and i wanted her to win. i was sad for shandi too, because i thought she had come a long way. mercedes did really well in the final rounds, though--that fierce photo, and then the runway show, she was great. and i like yoanna and all, but... i don't know. she's great in photos, and she's got the gorgeous face, but mercedes can definitely move better and walk better. i can't wait til that photo shoot shows up in my Jane, though.
