okay, so tonight jorn and i were thinking about going to a movie, but we didn't really feel like spending a lot of money, and then we were going to make dinner but we don't have hardly any food, and we didn't know what we would make anyway. and we were kind of grumpy, but we decided to walk up to harvard square so he could return a cd, and we thought we'd stop and get some food there or something.
so we get out to harvard square and decide to go to newbury comics so jorn can shop for a new cd he wants. and i'm not even looking at cds because i never impulse-buy music; i was mostly just waiting for him and looking at all the other crap they have there. now, the last time i was there, i saw they had the new 12-inch Angel action figure, but it was like $35 or $40, way too much for me. and today, i saw they had also gotten in the 12-inch Spike figure. i thought to myself, gosh, i wish they'd get in the new line of Willow action figures. and then, in my browsing around, i found one! it was just the ordinary Willow, though, and i preordered that a while ago and i'm just waiting for it to ship now. so i thought, darn. and continued looking, hoping to see one of the variants but not really expecting to, since the Willow i'd found was the only one on the rack.
but then! on the floor, out of the way and sort of behind and under some other stuff, i found... the Dopplegangland Willow! OMG!! i did a little happy dance right there in the store. she only cost me $15.74, and she's really cute. i am so the luckiest girl in boston right now. i'm still all excited. i had pretty much given up on getting any of the new Willow variants because i missed the preorder deadline and now they're so expensive on ebay. but now i have one. and the guy behind the counter said that they might get more in, too. i'm going to be such a Newbury Comics skank for the next few weeks. i still want Vampire Willow.
now, if you'll excuse me, i'm going to go play with my dolls.
