a good day / January plans
Jan. 7th, 2005 02:48 pmI just finished up looking things up for chapter 24, finally, and I fed exed it off to the editors. I got some other things done for the Kipster today, too. I had a lovely lunch with my lady (and Jorn, I totally have to take you to Grendel's because the cheese fondue is all it's rumored to be and then some), and I got to share in her good news, which made me really happy. And I stopped by O&I for discounted movie tickets. And I should be able to put some money in my savings account this month! All in all I'm feeling pretty accomplished.
Tonight: going to see Teh Lif Akwatik with Jornzor and maybe Dann
Tomorrow: working on my final for the Inka class, watching Godzilla at Tadd's tomorrow night
Sunday: working on my final (not like it'll actually take me two full days of work, but I have to account for all the time I'll spend *not* working on it and feeling guilty)
Hopefully sometime in the next few days I'll get to see David, too. He's in town, rehearsing something. We were thinking about going to Manray but he couldn't make it this Wednesday and I think he'll be back in Jersey by next Friday, which is the next time I'm planning on going, so hopefully we'll get it together and meet for coffee or something.
And Rose emailed me today to see if it would be okay for her to visit at the end of January. I said of course. I hope she does make it up, because it would be great to see her. Did I mention that she and I had a really good talk while I was home over the holidays? We did. She's great.
Oh, and Monday 1/17 is MLK day. That means I have the day off. I love Harvard.
