Last night we watched a movie called Suspiria. It thought it was the most terrifying horror movie ever made. The maggots were pretty gross, as were the needles in the dead girl's eyes, but otherwise it was pretty funny. Who doesn't look before leaping into a room full of barbed wire, seriously? Anyway, it starred an actress named Jessica Harper, who looked really familiar, but I think it's just because she reminded me of Karen Allen in Raiders of the Lost Ark. But I found out when I imdb'ed her (Jessica Harper) that she was Anne Lively in Minority Report! The psychic girl's drug addict mom who cleaned up and wanted her daughter back! I thought that was interesting. She hasn't done much else though.

Other movies I've seen lately: Return of the King: Extended Edition (because I really wanted to see it again!), and The Red Violin.

Oh, and the Brattle is going to be showing Serenity in December!! And it comes out on dvd at the end of December too! Woot woot.
