books 2008: Swordspoint, by Ellen Kushner

Fantasy. Very evocative world. Neil Gaiman recommended. I happened to read most of this book while lying in a hammock in Key West, so I have very positive feelings about it. If you want to read about sword fights, this is a good book; if you like your swordsmen gay, you should definitely pick this one up. I plan to read the sequel, which Neil Gaiman also recommended.
