I started off April right with a solid 45-50 minute yoga practice last night. My crow pose is getting so much stronger--I was able to hold, with control, for several seconds before setting myself down (as opposed to squealing hysterically while wobbling until I fell over). Pretty exciting. I also think I am already seeing some slight results in arm strength from the recent weight work.

Yoga music: I'm loving this album less now than I was before. The first song is good, and all the songs have a steady rhythm (instead of just being all flowy new agey, which is useless to me), but it just wasn't upbeat enough to keep me moving. I do a sometimes-strenuous vinyasa flow practice, and for at least the first half hour I need music that is upbeat and dancey to keep me flowing along. It's not a bad album at all, just not what I was wishing for last night. I'm thinking more and more than I need to make some yoga mixes, and not just go with an album in its entirety.
