books 2010: Angel: Sanctuary, by Jeff Mariotte

I happened to see this at the library and snapped it up. The story takes place just after Angel and the gang get back from Pylea in season 3 and mostly revolves around Fred's character. The dialogue was decent but really really could have been cut down--there was a lot of useless banter that just went on pointlessly for pages at a time. Otherwise it was a fun one-off read. (And the cover is so obviously photoshopped it's hilarious.)
