rush rush, wait wait

This morning I woke up at 6:05 like usual and called my company's emergency hotline to see if we had a delayed opening because of the weather. We did! I went back to sleep for a little over an hour, took my time getting up, had a leisurely breakfast, did my yoga practice, meditated, then looked at the clock and thought, yikes, I need to catch the 9:08 train! Luckily, with my short hair, I can shower in three minutes. Ran around getting things together, dried my hair in record time, even managed to switch everything to a different purse, ran out the door at 9:04 and hoofed it to the train station, where I hear an announcement that the 9:08 train has been canceled due to equipment problems. The next train is at 9:51. I take my time walking back home. But the snow looks really pretty.
