okay, so you know how earlier, i mentioned how at the HLC, they asked me to come in 5-7 tonight, and then changed their minds and asked me to come 3-5 instead? well, guess what happened when i got there at 3. i waited around for the little boy for 15 minutes and then dan says, wait a sec let me check the schedule again... and yes, the boy was really on the schedule 5-7. so they asked me if maybe please maybe i could come back 5-7. and being nice (and needing money) i said i would, but i also said that thad can never make fun of my scheduling issues ever again. (because i always have a scheduling issue, but it's not my fault, dammit).
but at least the little boy was nice. it was his first night at the HLC, so i don't know if he's really just nice or if he was on best behavior. but i didn't mind spending time with him, and he reads a whole lot better than other 8-year-olds i've worked with, so whateva.
and thad also asked me to work extra hours tomorrow: i was scheduled 3-5, but he asked me to stay till 7. but i don't know how well i'll handle four straight hours of agonizingly slow "See the tan ant. Sam is a man." but i need the money, so i can put up with a lot of stuff.
is anyone around? i'd like to play literati. i'd also like to play the Sims, but i shouldn't because i haven't written yet today. but i don't feel like writing, i feel like playing the Sims.
