Discovery of the day

Yesterday I bought these boots (if the link doesn't work, they are the Brunette style, under Casual Boots on the website) from Aldo because I have long admired them from afar, and they were on sale for $29.95. I really wanted to wear them today, but I wanted to wear them with a skirt, and it's very cold here. Then, completely by accident, I realized: why wear tights when you've got stretch pants and boots? Now, though I never thought I'd say this, I need to invest in more stretch pants. I feel very Farboesque in this outfit, but it's still very me and I'm pleased. And before you say anything, yes my legs were still cold when I arrived at work, but not near as cold as they would have been if I'd only been wearing tights. And my feet were totally warm, and the boots are very cozy. They are lined with fuzzy goodness.

I have a lot of crap to do today. Argh.
