so i looked it up, and Star Trek Nemesis definitely opens on friday december 13 instead of the following week. this is a very good thing. i'm doing the candlelight tour that night at blandwood till 9pm, but we could maybe get our tickets for a 10pm show and be just fine.

this week:
tuesday evening: shopping with jdogg for teh LotR extended dvd and our HP tickets for friday night
wednesday: feminist theory class (need to read more!), then enterprise night with jorn
thursday: workshop, then the bar, then there's apparently a reading (Claudia Emerson, so there's another book i'll have to buy)
friday: an SAI rehearsal i should probably go to (not because i need it, since i have most SAI ceremonies memorized, but to help the girls), then HARRY POTTER!
saturday: possibly the NC Renaissance Faire, if the weather's nice (ew, right now weather.com is saying showers with a high of 49--hopefully that'll change)

oh, and i borrowed the first season of Buffy from my friend Rhett, and jorn and i watched the first four episodes this week. i'm loving it and i really want to watch more. i don't know how excited jorn is about it, but he probably won't mind if i watch a few episodes without him now and then. my only problem: i want something to bite Xander and killkillkill him, he is so annoying. he dies eventually, doesn't he? or he gets together with poor Willow and that makes him less annoying?

My opinion on this first season of buffy is that it's dramatically better than the later shit they try to pass off as television. From what I saw of willow going loony and trying to kill everyone, and somebody nearly dying in the library, the acting was just so bad. It had this intensely fake feel to it, like they were deliberately acting like they were acting. But the first season, it was just a show, and they were just acting. So I'm ok with it. I doubt I'll want to continue into another season, but I'll be ok watching the rest of this one if you want.

And xander just needs to get laid. He'll be ok after that.

Oh, and YAY! We got the LOTR DVD! WOOT!!!!
