I'm not sure if I'll be able to be here at my computer that afternoon--I'll be on my way back from a weekend at the beach!--but thank you for the advice! That certainly makes sense.
F told me that the best time for auctions to end is on Sunday afternoon/evening. People are at home and feeling mellow and have time to shop for things and bid on them. So luckily I did that part completely accidentally!
