Yesterday's Scrabble was pretty good. Six of us playing: me, Kari, and Lou on one board, and Kristina, Jean, and Rachel from production on the other board. This was Rachel's first game with us but I like her a lot and she fit in well; I hope she comes back.
My words:
62 points - STO(R)IES (all seven letters, on the very first turn!)
22 points - FOUND
22 points - BALLS / ROBOTS
12 points - SOUND
27 points - JOES
07 points - ME (I had all consonants and one vowel, and they were all weird consonants)
26 points - RAZE (I bet I could have done better with the Z)
25 points - GRAZE / GIVE (proud of this one)
14 points - OKE (it's in the dictionary but I don't remember what it means now)
08 points - RENT

You'd think my first turn would have put me over the top for the win right from the start, but it was a pretty near thing for a while there. I had a few pretty low-scoring words, and Kari played a pretty steady string of 20-points words. She finished up with something in the 190s, and Lou had I think a 178. Definitely a good game.
