i've been known to attend star trek conventions before, and they're really fun. maybe this would also be really fun. it could also be a bunch of geeks running around atlanta with light sabers or in elf costumes, but that too could be fun. i like embracing my geekiness periodically. :)

I went to dragon con once, many moons ago. My (now defunct) friend Lorraine dragged me, even paid for me. We just went for one day, though. We gawked, she met her (now defunct) future husband. I met Kevin Smith (my friend Peter won second place in a film contest that he was judging). I think I've had my fill of dragon cons for a lifetime.
