check out this fabulous article about modern love poems in Marie Claire! My friend Jill wrote one of the poems cited, which is super-cool. I loved the Frank O'Hara poem, but my favorite is the Brautigan one, which actually made me cry here at the office. You should go read it right now, I mean it.

I haven't read poems in a long time. These are great! I loved reading Brautigan when I was in high school and I had almost all of his books.


This (http://famouspoetsandpoems.com/poets/carol_ann_duffy/poems/8116) is one of my favorite love poems. Although I think knives in love poems are a little weird.
