Today I came home a little early from work, picked up a package from the post office, went to pick up our farm share, and stopped at Target to get a few things we needed. I was home shortly after 5, and F was at yoga and not due home until after 6, so I went jogging! Blue sky, sun shining, 66 degrees, capri pants. So wonderful.
My jogging playlist is 30 minutes long, but I haven't jogged a full 30 minutes in a while--it used to take me that long to do my usual route, but now I skip a song and I'm still usually home before the end of the playlist, even if I add the evil hill instead of going through the park. Today I figured out how to go through the park and add a loop that will bring the jog to a full 30 minutes! After the park, I went up Columbia to Dartmouth like usual and turned left like I was going to go past the coop, but before I got there I made a right on Princeton and took the tunnel with the 1970s Greek mythology mural under the railroad tracks! Then I went past the school and soccer fields and tennis courts, down Chester Road, cut through the train station, and got home exactly at the end of my playlist. Full 30 minutes, AND I got to use the 1970s Greek mythology tunnel, which is awesome and definitely my favorite of all the tunnels that go under the railroad tracks. Yay for nice weather to go jogging again!
