books 2011: Hough & Helix & Where & Here & You, You, You, by Lea Graham

This book is excellent. I am so pleased I got to be the proofreader, because (1) I got to read it before anyone else, (2) I had to read it through multiple times, and (3) I learned so many new interesting words! Really impressed and looking forward to reading more of Graham's work.

Oh my god! Lea was my favorite professor in undergrad! Or at least, as far as I can tell from asking the Internet, this is probably the same lady. Worked at Clark U in Worcester? From Arkansas?

I miss her so much. She was so incredibly awesome. I can't wait to read her poetry!

Is this her? I don't know her at all; I just know her publisher, that's how I got the proofreading gig. Book was good, though. She plays with words in a cool way, she's obviously really smart. There's a sample here.

YES!! That is her. How insanely cool! She was my favorite poetry professor, and I wrote better stuff under her guidance than at any other point (though I was never spectacular).

I have no idea if she'd remember me now, but I'm so glad to see her getting published!
