Greensboro?

Should I go to Greensboro for Halloween?

Pros:
Staying with Rhett. Seeing all my Greensboro friends. Getting trashed at the Halloween party. Presenting the Pig to its next owner myself and in person. The flights I've found are perfectly timed, putting me in Greensboro early saturday afternoon and back in Boston on monday evening, and there are no layovers.

Cons:
Not knowing if the famous party will be held on friday or saturday night (it's usally a saturday, but if they're having it on actual Halloween that screws the whole plan because I don't want to miss Susanna's party that night--Jay, news on that?). Having to get up reasonably early the morning after Susanna's party, but that's acceptable. Paying $217 to fly there and back. Feeling bad that I just dropped $217 on a fun trip when I've got a bunch of bills to pay and student loans coming up in December and I owe money to everyone and I keep whining about how broke I am.

I need to decide if the cost is worth me going. I think it might be--I really want to. The price has gone down since the last time I checked--it was $245. And Rhett said she would help me out with the cost because she misses me so much, so I would just be paying most of that, not the whole thing. What do YOU think?

nothing's fixed yet as far as i know. no one has stepped forward to host it yet, so the date's still up in the air. keep bugging me about it and i'll let you know when i find out.

and of course i think you should come here, but that's for selfish reasons.
