Another fun jaunt with the Sook. I think we're finally, finally building up for Sookie to get together with Sam. Things are obviously not going to last with Eric, hot as he is. Besides the whole Queen of Oklahoma problem, there's the issue that he's just not right for Sookie long-term. He doesn't respect her as a person, they don't see the world the same way, and she deserves somebody she can grow old with, somebody who understands what it means to be kind. That person is not a vampire. Sam is awesome. Ergo, Sookie should be with Sam, which is what I've been saying all along.

Also, I hate that Harris publishes little side stories and novellas that actually have bearing on the main plot. Now I need to find the story about how Sookie went to Sam's brother's wedding with him, and it seems like there's going to be a story about Dermot fixing up the attic. Annoying.
