This was a real pleasure to read. It's been a while since I had a Sookie book. I enjoyed this one particularly because I have always been Team Sam, and we actually made some progress toward Sookie realizing how she feels about him. (Although I'm sure it won't actually really happen until Harris is done writing the series, which I doubt she'll be any time soon considering how much money it's got to be making her.)
