My mom lent this to me a while ago and I've been meaning to read it, but I have a long walk to the train and it's hardback and heavy. Really glad I've read it now - I really enjoyed this book and found the three main characters to be smart, relatable, and fun to read. From my perspective as a white woman, I thought Stockett handled the race issues with sensitivity and honesty. Overall, recommended - it kept me captivated all day.
