In addition to being recommended by both my husband and my mom, this book was also recommended by a nice review on Rain Taxi: http://www.raintaxi.com/online/2011winter-2/morgenstern.php
I really loved this. The descriptions of the circus were so visual and lush. The ending felt a little flat to me: why did Tsukiko suddenly care so much? I wanted another scene with our two main protagonists, and I would also have liked more on why Bailey had the role he did. But overall, the book kept me captivated for two full days, from start to finish.
(I also loved how the atmosphere in this book reminded me of Punchdrunk and Sleep No More, and how in the Acknowledgments Morgenstern mentions how Punchdrunk inspired her! Sweet!)
