My mom lent me this and said it was the best book she'd read all year. I really liked it too - it kept me captivated. My biggest complaint is the noticeably poor (well, to me anyway) editing. It's a first novel, Penguin, were you really in that much of a rush to get it out the door? And nobody thought to fix the errors in the paperback edition? I mean, really, when the first-person narrator is an editor herself, there's just no excuse for errors that that narrator wouldn't make. But the vast majority of readers won't be bothered by this at all, and the book is well worth reading. I really fell into Katey's world and cared about her and the other characters. Recommended.
