so the bus. i have no problems catching the bus in the morning--one leaves at 8:15, and if i get up at 6:40 and hustle a bit, i can make it in plenty of time. because i know it arrives at 8:15, and i can plan for that. but the bus going home has been an ish, because it seems the #70 doesn't run as often going in to central square, and i can't quite figure out when the damn bus is supposed to hit my stop. i always seem to be standing around waiting for half an hour for the bus, no matter what time i leave work. yesterday i decided i would leave at 4:15 so i could be damn sure of catching it, and i waited till 4:30, when the #86 arrived along. i was sick of waiting for the 70, and i remembered how one day last week i was waiting for the 70 and the 86 arrived at around 4:30 and i didn't get on and then got to stand there till almost 5:00 before a 70 showed up. so i figured, hey, the 86 is supposed to go to harvard, let's be adventurous. so i got on. it took me right to harvard square and i took the T back to central, and i was back home before the 70 would've even gotten to my stop, so it was all good. i'll probably do that every day now. and at the harvard T stop, there was a musician (with his electric guitar and microphone) playing a beautiful song and singing in french. it totally made my day. the MBTA people should reconsider that new rule, because it sucks.
there was something else i was going to post about. oh well.
