last night i met david for coffee at la luna. i really like that place. they have spectacular chai and ymmuy gelato (MADE ON PREMISES). i think i may start going there to write sometimes. and i gave david a copy of my thesis, and he thinks he may set some of my poems. since he's composing music like mad lately and getting paid for it and all. i wonder how i would put that on my c.v.? maybe stuart would know. i'll worry about it when it happens, since he's been going to set some of my poems ever since we figured out i wrote poems and he wrote music. it would be really funny if we went our whole lives and never actually ended up collaborating.
in other news, my jornzor won't be there when i get home tonight. i am sad just thinking about it. i missed star trek because i was out with david, and jorn tried to call me three times and i didn't answer my phone, but he figured out when the rerun will be on (saturday night) and set the vcr to tape it for me. he's the best best boyfriend ever. i miss him already. :(
to do before i go to nyc tomorrow:
-stop at cvs on the way home for carefree pads and mini shampoos & conditioners
-pay some bills, get my checkbook up to date
-put away all my papers that are around, put away all the laundry, clean my room
-get some cash so i'll have it when i need to pay cash for the show we're seeing saturday night
-pack my stuff, remembering clothes, cds, my discman with extra batteries, books for the bus ride, the charger for my phone, my bus ticket, and all my various hair and skin products, as well as the pictures from amy's wedding (which the girls might like to see)
