ready for nyc

so i am all ready to go to nyc. last night i cleaned my room: put away all my clothes, paid my cell phone bill, did all my filing, put away the random books and papers that were scattered around, all that. now the room is nice and neat. and i packed up all my clothes and stuff, and i didn't forget my discman or extra batteries or my phone charger or Bear or my feminine hygiene products. i grabbed a fred chappell book to read on the bus in case i finish my jane smiley book. and this morning i brought all my stuff with me on the bus to work so that i can leave for the trip right from work without having to go home first--i'll take the bus back to central and then get right on the T to go to downtown crossing, instead of taking the detour to my place to get the bags and then walking back to the T. so i'm thinking i'll leave work around 1:45, in case the bus does something weird and i have to wait around there for a while. i'll need to be at the bus station at downtown crossing by 3:30. that should give me plenty of time to get there. and i talked to missi on the phone last night and she sounded like she'd be able to figure out where my bus is arriving and be there to meet me. i'll have to call her from the bus when it seems like we're getting close to the city, though. i'm really getting excited for this weekend.
