Full title: No-Drama Discipline: The Whole-Brain Way to Calm the Chaos and Nurture Your Child's Developing Mind. Finished on 8/31/15.
This was really great. Parents who employed an attachment parenting approach with their babies will like this angle on discipline as their children get older - no time-outs, no yelling, but instead connecting with your child to inspire more cooperation now, as well as helping kids build their brains so they'll be better able to make good decisions in the future. With a plus that, if you're following their advice, it helps you stay calmer too. I got this from the library and definitely want to buy a copy; even my first small attempts to use some of the strategies had immediate results.
F is currently reading their other book The Whole-Brain Child, which I'm planning to pick up when he's done.
