This was just freakin' perfect in every way. Eleanor and Park feel like real kids, with real problems, written so honestly. The way Eleanor's problems unfold in a surprising way that still feels completely natural, because it was lurking under the surface the whole time. The thoughts running through Park's head during the critical sequence near the end? He's feeling all these selfish teenage things that are so normal for him to feel, and yet he pulls it out to totally do the right thing despite having no idea what to do. So good. Highly recommended.
