The latest set of audiobooks we've been listening to in the car is the magic tree house series. f loves them. So far we've done:
Dinosaurs Before Dark (Magic Tree House, #1)
The Knight at Dawn (Magic Tree House, #2)
Mummies in the Morning (Magic Tree House, #3)
Pirates Past Noon (Magic Tree House, #4)
Eve of the Emperor Penguin (Magic Tree House, #40)
We inexplicably started with #40 and now have gone back to start at #1. It was a lot of fun to see Jack and Annie as the savvy time travelers they eventually become, and also see where it all began when they find the tree house for the first time.
Book #3 also led to f learning about mummies, which led to a nice Mommy/daughter evening flipping through my full-color Egyptian Book of the Dead together. (All the preschoolers do this with their moms, right?)
