Read May 4-5, 2016. This book didn't turn out to be the book I thought it was going to be. I found that interesting. I thought it would be a book where the poor girl gets swept away by the powers she didn't know she had. I wasn't really expecting the Darkling to be a villain, or at least not a REAL villain. I was pretty shocked when Alina had to run. It was not the book I was expecting. Probably it's a good thing that it kept me on my toes.
