This was absolutely darling: graphic novel adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Really beautifully drawn, and faithful to Baum's original text. I particularly liked the Emerald City, the Wizard dressed like an ordinary little old man from our own world, the lion's roly-polyness, and the tin man's mustache. I'm a little Dorothy'ed out by my offspring ("Tell me a Dorothy story!!") but I am looking forward to Shanower's work on the next book in the Oz series.
