books 2016: The Lives of Christopher Chant, by Diana Wynne Jones

This started out slow, but I really enjoyed it. So much fun backstory for the adult Chrestomanci we meet in her other books, and a lot of fun plot complexity. Jones could wrap up plot twists like nobody's business, that's for sure. Finished today.
