books 2016: Morning Star (Red Rising, #3), by Pierce Brown

Still too many space battles for my taste, but Brown seems to have honed some actual writing talent in this volume. The ending even caught me by surprise (though it shouldn't have). I enjoyed this and genuinely didn't know what was coming next.
