This was a fun ebook to read. I was expecting more of a choose-your-own-adventure style, and up front it seems to be that, but from what I saw (and I didn't go back and follow every path) it seemed like whatever choice you made, you'd end up at the same place. You couldn't screw up and get eaten by a fish monster, basically, like in the Choose Your Own Adventure stories of the 1980s. Still, it was a fun read.

TODS and I wrote a "Twisted Journeys" book a while back (a different brand of "Choose Your Own Adventure") and we were ordered to come up something like 25% disastrous endings. That was a LOT of fun. We dropped our "you" character into a volcano, got them eaten by wild dogs, cut short a fishing trip because they were exposed to schistosomiasis ... good times.
Come to think of it, the title "Safari Survivor" may have been overly optimistic. ;-)
