okay, i just talked to sarah, and she said why don't we just hang out tomorrow? so i'm not going to pick up discount tickets for anything. she also said that steve wanted to see the exhibit at the science museum and since he can't make it this weekend we'll go in a few weeks maybe. so we'll hang out and chat and do some shopping maybe and maybe i'll help her with some of the planning for mel's wedding shower. and it will be fun.

the mail guy just came by and gave me my paycheck. except that it's not a paycheck since my direct deposit is already working! so i've got almost $600 right in my account already. this is a Very Good Thing. i'm totally making twice as much in a week as i was temping. making rent and paying back my debts should be totally manageable now. or least, it will start being so in two weeks when i get my next check. :)

and hopefully, my next check will have benefits taken out of it. once i get the info in the mail, i'm going to sign up for my benefits and for a flexible spending account for my glasses and contacts. this is a very good thing. i *love* my job.
