Reason for LJ username?: Ame Otoko was the nickname given to me by the woman I stayed with in Japan. It means rain boy/man. (Ame means rain. Otoko means guy.) The day I came to Japan was the beginning of the rainy season, and it stayed that way for the three weeks I was there. The day I left, as she came out of the airport to drop me off, the sun came out. I was there for three weeks and never once saw the sun.
