i would like to state that the original Battlestar Galactica was slash waiting to happen. Apollo & Starbuck were total soldier buddies. dude, i should totally make some battlestar galactica icons!
about this weekend: friday, Girly Movie Night went over well. amy & maddie & i watched Monsoon Wedding and they loved it. rikky didn't watch with us because she'd already seen it, but she'll watch next time. it was really nice to watch a movie with girlfriends, and afterwards we all chatted and had a nice time. after everyone left i watched Possession by myself, but i already told you about *that*.
saturday: slept in super-late. got up after 12, had some cereal, sat around the kitchen talking with rikky & roommates. ate big pancake. went back to bed for a few hours because The Game was being watched and i had a headache. got up eventually, showered, had my date with jorn! we went out to harvard square: he showed me Tokyo Kid, his new favorite store, and afterwards we hit Hong Kong Restaurant for a fabulous dinner. finally somewhere that makes decent sesame chicken. yay. after that we walked home and then watched Whale Runner (i updated my imdb list today). it was good. i liked it.
sunday: slept in. watched some battlestar galactica when i first woke up, but part 2 of "Lost Planet of the Gods" was horrifically glitchy and we couldn't even watch the last ten minutes or so. the dvd people are getting a strongly-worded letter about that. and that's such a cool episode, too, the one where they find their ancestors' dead home planet and it's all covered with pyramids and stuff. and then, of course, fucking baltar fucks things up, but that's to be expected. then jorn kindly ran out to mcdonalds for lunch for him and dann and i, and that was good. then jorn and i watched the second Inu Yasha movie, thinking it was the first one. didn't really matter in terms of continuity, because this movie sort of happens as its own separate side quest thing. and yay, kiss. :)
hey, i can post more than three times a day now that i'm a paid user. i was going to include a thing about banjo kazooie in here, but now i'm going to put that in a separate post. so i can use a different icon. hee!
