also on sunday i played three games of yahtzee with dann and got a few more steps closer to beating damn Banjo Kazooie. it was such an awesome game, and i loved it so much; why does the end have to be so freakin' hard? but i feel pretty good because i've got 98 jiggys and over 882 notes, which was pretty hard to do. i'm really looking forward to playing Banjo Tooie, but i want to beat the first game first before i move on or else i'll never beat it. i got up to the part where the dingos (i know they're jinjos, but we spent the past month calling them dingos because we didn't have the instruction booklet and didn't know what the hell they were calling themselves. and the mumbo tokens are totally "eekum pokums", too) where the dingos arrive out to help me, but i totally get creamed at that point because you need to stop and shoot eggs into the hole at the foot of each dingo statue and you have, like, no cover at all from grunty's flaming boulder discharges while you're doing this. argh. one time, i managed to free all the dingos, and i think it was about to go into a cut scene where the fifth dingo arrives out, but i died before it could happen.

maybe i need a nintendo icon. Link from ocarina of time, maybe, or simon belmont from the original 8-bit castlevania. i'll take icon suggestions.

You know, I forgot to tell you guys. When I brought my nintendo 64 with me, I totally forgot all the instruction books I'd bought for games I have. I have one for Banjo Kazooie, and Banjo Tooie, and one for Majora's Mask. I think that's it, but I'm not sure. ...AH, yes. Kirby, too.

I should mail those to you guys.

As for the icon, I dunno. If you want it, it's out there. I guarantee you'll find something cool.

we've got the big ol' complete guide to majora's mask. but if you want to mail the banjo ones, they'd be welcome. :) :)
