oh, and i watched Moulin Rouge last night while jorn was out at his show. and i started out really hating it, and thinking the music was horrid and that the whole thing was a weird blend of modern set in 1899. but you know, it grew on me. and of course you know from the beginning that setine's going to die, right from the first time she coughs up blood in a handkerchief you know she's consumptive (i could sing a little song now about "Consumption Junction" but i won't), but i still really got sucked in to the movie. and it was good. i'm not going to watch it obsessively 800 times like some of my friends (mostly because a bunch of scenes in the beginning would make me want to kill myself), but i thought it was good and i'm glad i watched it.
tonight i'm still psyched that i'm going to see The Fast Runner and hear the director talk about it, even if no one's going with me. it's supposed to be a really good movie and i've been wanting to see it for a while. so there.
i'm realizing the limitations of the photo editor program i downloaded. i mean, i guess i figured it would be missing some features, being free and all, but there's a lot of stuff i just can't do. and that's annoying to me. there's some features from, like, Paint that aren't in this program (like creating a square, for example), and not a whole lot in the way of text formatting. i mean, i'm not even talking about kerning or anything, just regular features from Word like strikethrough or outlining. and it's hard to get the fonts to look crisp unless the colors are actually white on black or something similar. feesh was telling me about templates, and i think if i had a bunch of templates i could use them, but i can't actually create any. which is annoying. but i'm not going to order me up hundreds of dollars of photoshop goodness, and at least this is better than what i was using before. fireworks, that would be good, i've used that before and liked it. i could always download photoshop's free 30-day trial. over and over again. argh.

I give you PSP, on a CD. I don't know how I'd get it to you but I'm sure I could talk to Jerod and yada yada yada.
And, there are a billion templates communities out there.
To list a few:
