car ish / banjo / kushiel progress

jorn's the best boyfriend ever. this morning he took my car over to the car place to get a new battery and an oil change, and i'm going to go with him to pick it up after work. he was such a sweetzor to take it over there. i got all upset last night, because the car stuff always pisses me off, but jorn was very good to me. *kiss*

he's hard at work on banjo kazooie, too. he's got every jiggy piece *and* all the notes. i'm so proud. maybe tonight he'll do the game show and then beat the game. he'll probably beat the game on, like, the first try, since he saw me do it so many times. and i'll watch and stuff, and then i'll get to see the secrets mumbo's going to show you if you get 100 jiggies. so i won't have to get that last one myself. :)

also tonight: next top model. i freakin' love that show. and maybe when jorn finishes with banjo kazooie, i'll start on banjo tooie.

in other news: making my way through kushiel's dart. i'm loving this book. i'm so glad she got away from the skaldi, and i love the cruithne and phedre's boys, and i'm sad hyacinthe got stuck on the island. dat iz all.

hmm. i think Robbie may be a GREAT boyfriend, but i don't know that he's had time yet to have proven himself to be the Best Boyfriend Ever. Jorn's been working towards this title for four whole years now, so his resume is necessarily going to be longer. unless Robbie's rescued you from a pack of crazed wolves or something huge and dramatic like that, i think Jorn's going to have to be the winner. so THERE! :)

This is true, but it takes a LOT of hard work and commitment to make a relationship that is not only very long distance but across borders work, and he's pulled that off very well. I feel like this gives him quite a few extra points and brings him quite a bit closer to Jorn!

I've got you both beat! Not only am I very far away from my girlfriend, but I'm also SUPER CUTE! And Jorn never saved you from a rabid pack of wolves? Man. Didn't know my brother was such a loser. And Robbie, though he has the border thing in his favor, is Canadian. And if we've learned anything from George W. Bush, it's that Canadians, etc. are dirty people. So I beat Jorn, and I beat Robbie. Victorious!
