so yesterday, i didn't have much to do at work. as in, nothing at all really for most of the day. so i started reading Kushiel's Chosen. and i got so freakin' involved, i read it for six hours straight here at work. skipped lunch (which i would've had to go somewhere to get, which was too much effort anyway), forgot to pee, all that. so when i left work i was feeling a little sick, but the fresh air did me good. then i got home, watched jorn play some banjo tooie, and finally realized that i would puke if i didn't eat something. i made an omelette and put it in a wrap, and it was tasty. then i started reading again, for only another hour or so, but i totally got all nauseated again and ended up throwing up part way through Next Top Model. go me. so basically i ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast yesterday, along with some jello and a couple of granola bars. absolutely none of the omelette survived. i had been planning on watching the new Queer Eye last night and i was all excited, but i went to bed at 10 because i just couldn't stay awake anymore.
even after all that, it was a struggle not to bring the book with me to work again today. damn you, phedre! she just fell off the cliff at la dolorosa, too, after joscelin came to rescue her from prison. i read the first sentence of the next chapter, and saw that she survived hitting the water, but then i was too sick to keep going. so you know i was really dreadfully sick, because ordinarily i couldn't leave phedre in the lurch like that. now i can't wait to get home and read some more. argh.
