so i just broke down and preordered the new Willow action figure from mypopstore.com. it was only $20 with shipping, and i can afford to splurge a little now that i've got a decent job.

i'm tempted to preorder this too--a boxed set with the new vampire willow, white witch willow, and dark witch willow action figures. the preorder price is only $39.99, but i don't know how much the shipping would be. in any case it's a decent price for three figures, when i just paid $20 including the shipping for just one.

i don't think i'll prorder that one just yet, though. i think my credit card has gotten enough action lately, especially since i just bought jorn a present online and i was using it a bunch this week and also just bought myself the paid el jay account with extra icons. and i know i'm going to be wanting some dvds soon. so i'm going to wait to preorder that for a few weeks, see if i can pay off some of the mountain o' cash i've been charging up before i buy anything else big.

i have now tried several different varieties of Odwalla bars, and i think they're all pretty gross.

watch it! i turned around and my $3000 mastercard had a $4000 balance.

i am watching it. hence the not buying the action figure set now, but waiting til later.

also, i've only got maybe $1300 in credit card debt altogether. if i'm careful, i can pay that off in two months. of course, i haven't been very careful lately, since i've actually been buying things i want. but i think i'm pretty well set for a while now--i've got too many books to read, plenty of dvds to watch, and my willow action figure preordered. i even have lots of sweaters and several pairs of jeans that fit, and even some cute underthings now, so i should be set on shopping for quite a while.

but seriously--you know how much i made the past two years because you're making it now, so you know how long i've kept my shopping needs all pent up. who can blame me for splurging a little now that i've got a job? at least i'm getting stuff i want and will use; it's not like i'm out there buying useless shoes or anything like a lot of girls would (although urban outfitters has the cutest rain boots EVER that i've been eyeing...).

thank you for the warning, though. but i am being a (fairly) good girl.
