i just skipped yoga because i just *needed* to comment on this right away. i am highly amused--not about the him-being-terrified part, because i was freaked out when we met again too, but about the devout catholic part and other related stuff. reading this entry makes me really glad we met again.

Geez, I'm flattered that you skipped yoga to reply to an lj post.

i don't need a lot of excuses to skip yoga. i'm a big lazy butthead. three times a week would be nice, but as long as i keep making it at least twice a week i'm not going to worry.

I've been lifting weights every weekday morning very reliably :P

i read that, and i'm proud of you. :)

i think going to the gym every day would be really good for me, especially with me having a sit-on-my-ass job that pretty much guarantees the expansion of the aforementioned ass. i just can't get myself out there, though--after work i just want to go home, and i'm getting up at 6:45 every morning as it is. i just don't know where to fit it in.

Hmm, that sucks. Mornings work way better for me, but I'm not expected to get to work till 10am. When do you get out of work ? Seems like it should be possible to get yourself in the habbit of going to the gym after work every day. The biggest thing for me has been making it a habbit.

well, my hours are technically 9-5, since i'm supposed to do a seven-hour day with an hour lunch. usually i just pack a lunch and don't go anywhere, but i spend so much time not doing any actual work that i figure my "lunch hour" just happens somewhere in the course of the day and i stay til 5:00 anyway. my supervisor is currently on sabbatical in colorado, and i have my own office, so it doesn't *really* matter much when i get here or how long i stay as long as i get the work done and put in some semblance of a full day. but i don't want to be a slacker especially since i just got this job.

basically, i have the flexibility to do what i want with my work schedule. i just have to figure out a system that works for me, and just do it.
