howard's definitely dying. he's all limp and it seems like he can't move at all. i only know he's alive because he's breathing every once in a while. i'm trying not to move him around or touch him too much because he always hated being touched. my mom says she'll buy me a new one, isn't that silly? i don't want a new one. my poor little friend. it would be silly to take him to a vet at this point, when every breath seems like it's the last one. i just hope he's warm enough and comfortable.

is it stupid to cry over a hamster? i don't think it's stupid, and i don't care if you do.
