most boringest of tuesdays

okay, so my job, it's pretty boring, but not even that can account for how long and boring today has been. i worked for like two hours straight this morning, and i've done a variety of work throughout the day, too, just not all at once. and i've been keeping busy all through the day with outside stuff like icons. by all rights it should be like 5:00 by now. i haven't left the office since i got here at 8:45, and maybe that's contributing, i don't know. i'm definitely leaving early.

so here's plans for the next few days. tonight, i'm stopping at tello's on the way home (hence the wanting to leave early) to see if i can find an appropriate black top to wear out tomorrow night (more on that in a sec). then i'm picking jorn up at work at 6:45 to go to target, and there's a bunch of stuff i want to find there, but hopefully it won't take too long. later tonight jorn is catching the last bus to providence to fly to austin. :( i'm going to miss him a lot.

tomorrow: yoga in the afternoon, then tomorrow night i'm going to Manray with darxus. hence the needing a new top--shiny happy rox doesn't have much that's appropriate for goth night. in fact, most of the outfit i'm planning to wear originally belonged to sarah b (i can't believe she gave me that skirt, but it's definitely the sexiest thing in my closet. and someday i'll return those fishnets). i mean, those of you who know me in real life know that my wardrobe is not exactly edgy. (my current favorite shirt has a panda on it.) but i am Making An Effort, and i think it'll be really fun. need to get black eye stuff at target, too, and maybe a new dark red lipstick (since i think the one i have is left over from the time i wore the red dress to prom, junior year in high school). silver lipstick isn't really gothy, is it? i'm always looking for an opportunity to wear the silver lipstick.

there's chocolate on my sweater. i haven't even *eaten* any chocolate today.

i don't know what i'm doing the rest of this week. well, i have an idea, but without both jorn and dann i think i'll have a lot of empty hours. hopefully sue will call me about maybe watching a movie thursday night, because it's been eons since i've seen her. friday is possibly movie night with farbs and tad (who became one of my new favorite people on saturday at farbs's game night--i hadn't really warmed up to him before, but he's really cool). saturday is Ladies of the House at Otis, which should be really cool, and even better is that i'll only be there for two hours for the tour. then i think i'll go downtown, get some new underwear from filene's (i'm an addict now i swear) (even my panties are cutesy, now that i think about it, not even my lingerie wardrobe is edgy), and then maybe look for new shoes to match the new black and white dress. oh it is a cute dress, and is deserving of Perfect Shoes to go with it. sunday i'll be at Otis all day, which was a good accident of planning on my part because otherwise i'd be just sitting around at home waiting for jorn to get back from austin.

boy is correct. it's gothy. it's gothy 'cause it makes your lips look like they are drained of life, or something. i dunno, i can justify ANYTHING and make it sound gothy. including girls named heather dresssed in pink

i'd like to, but dann, and probably his digital camera, are going to birmingham today. i'll definitely take some with my regular ol' camera, but not having a scanner, it may take a while before they show up here. sigh.

Of course! South by southwest, yo. I hear it's bigger and better than ever this year! Alas, I prob'ly won't see him - I'm in Austin now, but leaving for Houston tomorrow for a slashy fanfic convention.
